Dr. Paromita Datta, M.D.

 Dr. Datta has a holistic approach to treating patients with cancer. Not only does she focus on the disease, but also the co-morbidities, emotional and related psychological ramifications. She believes in practicing to improve the quality of life as well as the quantity of life and helps patients in every step of their battle with cancer.

Born and raised in India, Dr. Datta came to the "land of dream " give her patient the best treatment available. She graduated from Medical College, Kalkota, India in 2001. This was followed by clinical  research at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. In 2003, she moved to San Antonio for a residency in Internal medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center, followed by fellowship in Hematology and Oncology.  

Dr. Datta specializes in the management of all kinds of cancer as well as blood disorders. She has a passion for treating breast cancer. She provides compassionate, personalised, comprehensive care to all of her patients.

Dr. Datta is board certified in Internal Medicine and Oncology. She is a member of Bexar County Medical Society (BCMS), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and American Society of Hematology (ASH).

Dr. Datta ia a proud mother of two beautiful daughters. In her spare time, she loves reading and cooking.
